Gold/Silver Team Guard Shai'Ree Jarren McKinsey Walker

Shai’Ree has been a member of Y.E.A. for 5 years. She is in the 8th grade and attends TOPS (The Option Program at Seward), prior to attending TOPS she attended St. Therese Catholic Academy. Shai’Ree enjoys making handmade jewelry, listening to music, hanging out with friends, spending time with her family, praying, making funny faces, dancing and creating music by beating on everything in sight. She use to play golf and is planning on running track in High School.  Shai’Ree’s main sports focus is basketball, along with practicing and playing for Y.E.A. she trains twice a week with an ex-WNBA player. Shai’Ree is a quick and fast runner, very competitive, very silly, very caring, and a leader in school and on the court.  She has headed up fundraisers for Thanksgiving fooddrive and book sales to benefit Breast Cancer awareness.  She also volunteers reading to kindergarteners once a week. Shai’Ree is an only child and lives with her mother ( a hairstylist), her grandmother and dog Odie.  This summer Shai’Ree will be attending
STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) to prepare for her Freshman year.   

Gold/Silver Team Guard Jahpera Jendaye' Elise McEachin

Jahpera “MiMi” is 14 years old and in the 8th grade at Sacajawea Middle School. MiMi has an exceptional academic record; she has straight A’s and is in the Gate Honor Classes as well as a
member of the Honor Society. She is also the Most Well Loved Student in the School. 
Mimi feels blessed to be raised by both her parents along with three sisters and one brother (who is very spoiled).  Her siblings have had a huge influence on MiMi’s love for basketball beginning at the young tender age of 2.  Although MiMi has many hobbies her favorite is going to church, she thanks God for all her abilities because without him there would be no MiMi. She loves learning new things that improves her. MiMi also loves to watch TV. Mostly she enjoys hanging out with her Mom SunShyne, she always makes things happen! Since she has joined Y.E.A. her bond with her mother has strengthened, she loves traveling with her Mom.  Mainly because that brings
the shopping on! MiMi also plays Volleyball, Sacajawea took first place in 7th grade, but nothing comes close to her love for basketball.  MiMi also loves spending time with her new nephew Yisrael.  Yisrael attends Y.E.A. games regularly along with her crazy family.  


diamond Team Guard Mackenzie Campbell

Mckenzie Campbell is a Junior at Woodinville High School.  Sports has always been a major part of  Mckenzie’s life. She has participated in Softball, Track/Field, and Cross Country.  Her main sports were Soccer, Volleyball and Basketball. Currently she is focusing just on Basketball. 
In her spare time she volunteers at the Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center.  The Riding Center helps people with physical disabilities improve their bodies, mind and spirits through
therapeutic riding.  Mckenzie also participates in Relay For Life which raises money to help in the fight for cancer.  Family is also very important to Mackenzie, she loves spending time with her twin brother and her 20 year old brother. 


Silver Team Forward Sterling Mclennan

Sterling McLennan is in the 8thgrade at Washington Middle School. Sterling is a member of the Senior Choir, the Senior Choir is planning a trip to Montana in May to perform.  She take photography in school and is interested in expanding photography into a hobby.  Sterling is in all honors classes in school, an all star athlete and student at Washington Middle school.  Sterling has 2 half sisters and 1 half brother.   She spend her free time attending Church, going to the movies, swimming,  eating, listening to music, playing her guitar and hanging out with friends.
